Live translation for international events

Bring international speakers and local audiences into the same conversation

Drawing on extensive experience supporting multilingual events worldwide, VoicePing delivers live captions and translated audio across a broad range of languages, with particular speech-recognition expertise in Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and Vietnamese.

An attendee scans an event QR code, selects a preferred language in the browser, and follows the resulting live translated transcription on a phone.

Unscripted discussions and Q&A

Keep bilingual discussions moving when the language changes

When questions and answers alternate between a configured language pair, VoicePing detects each turn and changes translation direction without an operator switching it manually.

  • Designed for panels and live Q&A where speakers do not follow a fixed language order.

Illustrative workflow, not actual product UI. Attendees scan an event QR code, open the browser without installing an app or creating an account, choose from the available languages, and follow live translated captions. This demonstration QR opens the public VoicePing website; real events use an event-specific attendee access code. The example shows English captions translated into Japanese, with a speaker control for optional Japanese audio.

Personal listener access

Give every attendee a personal translation view

Attendees scan one event QR code, choose their preferred language from the event’s available options, and follow live captions in their browser—without installing an app or creating a VoicePing account.

  • Works on mobile and desktop browsers.
  • Supported translated audio can be played from the same listener view.
  • Protect listener access with event-room passwords and TLS 1.3 encryption for application and audio/video traffic.

Illustrative workflow, not actual product UI. The English caption reads “The patient has hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.” and highlights the approved term. The Japanese caption uses the corresponding approved translation. On desktop, controls indicate editing for both captions, deletion for the English source, and audio playback for the Japanese translation.

Prepared terminology

Reduce technical-term errors before they reach the screen

Add names, acronyms, product terms, and specialist vocabulary to the Workspace Dictionary so live captions and translations use the organizer-approved wording.

  • Register pronunciations and common misrecognitions for difficult names and technical terms.
  • Share one Workspace Dictionary across presenters, sessions, live captions, and transcripts.

Event planning FAQ

What organizers usually confirm before an event

Review the attendee flow, language coverage, venue requirements, capacity, access controls, and support options before choosing a plan.

Do attendees need to install an app or create an account?

No. Attendees open the event link or scan its QR code, choose a language, and follow captions and supported audio in their browser.

Which language numbers apply to captions and audio?

VoicePing currently supports 46 speech-recognition locales, 60 translated-caption target languages, 43 translated-audio languages, and 16 bilingual auto-detect languages.

Can access to an event be restricted?

Yes. Event rooms can use password protection so organizers can control who joins the attendee experience.

How many attendees, rooms, or sessions can VoicePing support at the same time?

VoicePing scopes capacity for each event based on expected attendee connections, concurrent rooms or sessions, configured languages, and whether translated audio is required. Share these details when requesting a quote so the team can confirm the appropriate setup.

What equipment and internet connections are required for the venue and attendees?

VoicePing needs a clean audio feed from the presenter microphone or venue mixer and a stable venue connection for the translation session. Attendees need a stable internet connection on their devices for live captions and supported audio in the browser. Required capacity depends on attendee count, concurrent rooms, and whether translated audio is enabled, so validate the network during pre-event setup and rehearsal.

What operational support is available?

The standard Event Plan includes account setup. Paid remote and on-site options can cover pre-event setup, monitoring, terminology preparation, exports, and equipment rental.

What is available after the event?

Depending on the event workflow, organizers can retain transcripts and AI summaries, use recording and playback, review managed-session adoption analytics, and export event data as CSV.
